Meticulously designed by a think tank of industry experts, NJORD was built with sustainability and a philanthropic purpose in mind: to undertake oceanographic studies that advance scientific frontiers and global marine research. The yacht accomplishes this through a range of specialized features, including a wet and dry oceanographic laboratory, multi-beam echo sounders with HD 3D mapping, air and water sampling system and magnetometer, two submarines, ten exploration zodiacs, and autonomous subsea and aerial drones.
