This also helps when you are ready to put your house on the market. Decluttering slowly when you have decided that right is the best approach, so you can really focus your efforts on one space at time.
- Decide what is important. Think about what you really need in your new home and what could be sold, donated, or given away. This will help you determine what items you should keep and what you can get rid of right away. Be as rigid as marie kondo as you go through your items.
